xxxHOLiC, (pronounced just holic - as in, alchoholic, and written as "×××~ホリック~") is one of CLAMP's most recent works, published fairly weekly in Young Magazine (a magazine for adults by Kodansha). It runs simultaneously with Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicles, another one of CLAMP's newer (and not-so-good) series. Although many consider xxxHOLiC to be a sellout publication because of its many crossovers and plugs of other CLAMP series, this simply isn't true - the primary characters of xxxHOLiC are original to the story. Furthermore, it is not a rip-off of Petshop of Horrors, another rumour I've heard circulating since before it was first published (although I will admit, the story isn't perfectly unique either). It has a dark, enigmatic and swank sort of mood accompanied by very gorgeous, fitting artwork.

as usual i got a copy of this anime at northmall-LRT monumento..
the story is very interesting and unique(spookyness), and somehow may konek sya sa TRC..and yes, isa sa mga bida dito ay si yuuko ichihara~ the dimension witch in TRC...di ko nga lang natapos ito dahil may naulit na episode sa dvd..badtrip talaga yung nabilan ko nito sa north mall..
