Player versus player, or PvP, is competitive interaction within a game between two live participants. This is in contrast to games where players compete against computer controlled opponent, which is similarly referred to as player versus environment (PvE) or player versus monster (PvM). PvP could be a type of combat in MMORPGs, MUDs and other computer role-playing games (CRPGs) pitting one player's 'skill' against another's.
PvP can be broadly used to describe any game where players compete against each other, such as first-person shooters, real-time strategy games or tennis. In computer role-playing games, this is typically called player killing or PKing, where player controlled characters actively do battle against other player controlled characters. The expression, 2pvp, arose from this community to describe the sentiment of improving oneself through the virtual destruction of others.
The term has also been adopted in discussions about traditional role-playing games and live-action gaming, with approximately the same meaning.
Why put PvP in AE?
We decided to put a PvP Arena in AE to have more fun than just browsing and reading topics. Here you can create your character and participate in battles against other members.
This is also a preparation for the upcoming Clan Wars. In AE’s RPG.
How can I join in this PvP/RPG?
Every member of AE can join in the PvP arena. But first, you have to create and register a character.
Created Character needs to be balanced. (you can check the character creation rules for more info) after this you need to register it on the registration thread. And wait to be approved by the RPG mods.
Once you have a clear registered character, you can now enter anywhere in the RPG community.
Now you know the basics of PVP/ RPG… no for more detailed things…
How does PvP Works?
We’ve been planning on how to do this for more than a month now. (right?)
And finally erinos came up on how to do this PVP thing.
Firstly,
Every PvP should be registered on a date to have a match. We should register every match 2 – 3 days before the battle.
And battle registration should only be a maximum of 3 - 5 matches a day.
(This is for the battle manager, so he/she won’t be busy and won’t have a hard time handling battles.)
If 5 battles are registered and there is still more who wants to have a match.
Then the remaining matches will be moved for tomorrow’s battles. Still with a maximum of 5 matches.
A player is only allowed to play a match max of 2 times in a day. It will be 1 for the decided duels. Where he will challenge someone or both participants to agree that they will have a match.
2nd is a when an opponent challenge you for one.
So it will be 2 matches total.
Now matches are settled.
How will they have a match?
For the matches. Automatic Turn Base game play will be implemented.
Each character will have 100 HPs (hit points) and your task is to get your opponent’s HP to Zero.
Each player will be given 15 Turns each. This turns will be their offensive moves.
This will be done by the battle master. An Automatic Damage Counter will be used in order to make an attack and hit either of the players. Your damage will be PM to you before the battle start.
Damage Counts:
The damage counter will be set to range 1-10
Then it will automatically generate a random number between 1 – 10.
1 – 3 = will be considered as miss attack.but 2 and 3 is different while it misses the player can buff, use item, or de-buff the player with his skills or items.
4 – 6 = normal hit
7 - 8 = average hit
9 – 10 = will be critical hit .
If one of the player has their HP to 0 then the battle is over it will be called a K.O. And the player that is left with more than 1 HP is the winner.
And if the 15 Turns are over. The player with more HP than the other will be considered as the winner. And the player with less HP is considered as he/she cannot fight anymore. Thus he/she loses.
K.O.ed players will be directly taken to the RPG hospital for medication. They will be inside the hospital for 2 days. Before they can go out again.
To technically K.O.ed players. 1 day will be spent in the hospital due to minor injuries.
After their recovery. They are allowed to participate in any matches again.
How will the battle master use the ATB game play?
The Damage counter is an online random number picker.
Where it automatically generates numbers between a specified number ranges.
damage counter

the blue circle indicates that the counter is not yet finished choosing.
thus the blue square decides the number.
First, before the 5 turns battle starts. The battle master will pick first who will be going to attack first. and what damage hits you will got.
Then after the decision, your damage hits will be PM to you by the Battle Master. You will receive it the one day before the battle so that you can prepare.
A player who doesn't show up in the schedule will be automatically disqualified. and player will won by default.
*note*
This is the fun part.
While both the players are having a match. The battle master can make a play out of the results.
Example:
“Player 1’s” turn:
Player 1 attacked with his sword directly to his opponent… but as soon as he steps forward, he slipped in a banana peel.
Damage: 0 “miss”
“Player 2’s” turn:
While his/her opponent is down. He/she jumped in mid-air and plunges an attack to Player 1.
“SKILL NAME”
“EXECUTE!”
Bolts of lightning struck Player 1. He/she can’t evade anymore.
Damage: 10 “critical”
Example ends.
This can be decided on how the counter will goes out.
If it’s below 3 then he can make up things that can be considered as missed attacks. 4 – 8 normal attacks and moderate skills. Then 9 -10 for Critical attack or High damaging skills.
What if the Battle master has favoritism or he/she is siding on one of the players?
No.
I ensure to every player that no Battle master will side on any of the player who will have a match.
The Turns
every player has a maximum of 15 turns.
You will used a skills depending on the damage hit that the Battle Master PM you. This is a role playing battle we required 5 above sentences constructions.
Battle Master can interfere with ongoing battles. they can add minor changes.
