Synopsis: Kyon is an ordinary freshman high school student who, self-admittedly, has given up his fantasies of espers, time travelers, and aliens as he left middle school. However, sitting behind him is the beautiful, intelligent, and eccentric girl Haruhi Suzumiya, who in her class introduction blatantly states her singular desire in meeting aliens, time travelers, sliders, or espers. Interested, Kyon starts trying to make small talk with her before class, eventually leading to normal conversations with Haruhi. One day, after making a comment about Haruhi's displeasure with the available school clubs, he finds himself dragged into membership of the newly formed Spreading Excitement All Over the World with the Haruhi Suzumiya (or SOS) Brigade.

My Review:

Well i finished the 14episodes.. it was one of the good anime in town.The music is perfect, characters are cute, the story line is unique. well,at first im kinda annoyed with the fast interface. specially while kyon is speaking.. hahaha i cant follow the subtitled. and of course the flow of the episodes. hindi magkakasunod. at first kala ko nagkamali lang pero ganun raw talaga. anyways as the story progress masasanay ka rin. I love the school event episodes, haruhi really rocks :XD and nagato is really cool with her guitar. of course the animation. well im not into it as long as its good in my eyes then its ok with me. Haruhi is really cute but i dont like her attitude as a manipulated person, maybe that's make haruhi unique. a main character with very childish and bully attitude. yeah she bully mikuru a lot. hehehe

Have you read the review of the others? its flat 10!! O_o she really is a God. to get a perfect score like that. oh well. MOHS is really something. i recommend it to all, and it can be watch by all ages.. im not a fan of haruhi, i just love the anime.

Plot Summary: On the first day of high school a beautiful girl named Haruhi Suzumiya introduces herself as having "no interest in ordinary humans". She asks for any aliens, time travelers, sliders or espers to join her. Watching her weird behaviour is Kyon who sits in front of Haruhi and is the only person who talks to her. When Kyon comments about Haruhi's joining every club in school and then quitting he unwittingly gives Haruhi an idea to start her own after school club. Thereafter Kyon and several others find themselves dragged, literally, into the Save our world by Overloading it with fun Suzumiya Haruhi's Brigade (the S.O.S. Brigade for short).

Review:

I've watched all 14 episodes for 3 days straight and there's a time I didn't sleep coz' I can't wait for the next episodes (and to see Haruhi's cuteness ofcourse). I can say that this anime is really a mystery. There are so many "why's" and "how's" When you watch this anime. The character are cute and their personalities are unique.

The idea of "man being overruled by women" is fantastic. Even though I'm a male, I want to be overruled by cute girls. In fact Kyon is really overruled by Haruhi coz he don't have powers but the idea that Kyon is the only one who can control Haruhi's feelings are way too excellent. The way Kyon reacts to the situation (complaining) and the way Haruhi manipulates other people (bullying) is funny. The whole idea of the story is a funny.

Overall, This anime is perfect.. No wonder why it's so popular. I love this anime for an unknown reason. (Is it becoz of Haruhi?)

Animation:

Absolutely cute! The setting, characters are really well drawn compared to its manga version. Becoz of the great animation, I got an inspiration to draw fanarts from this anime.

Story Line:

The story is really mixed upl. Episodes are really jumbled that you'll have a hard time understanding the story. The whole story is identifying who is Haruhi Suzumiya. The anime itself have the same story line with other anime.

The story has the same plot as Love Hina and the rest of the anime. Each episodes reveals the identity of a character and their personal background and the idea that men are being overruled by girls. The fact that Kyon is in love to a goddess (which is Haruhi) is just the same as Ah! My Goddess.

Music (Anime)

One of the greatest impact to the viewer of this anime besides the story. The guitars are awesome and the lyrics is great. It also inspires me to play the lead of their song "God Knows" which obviously popular to MOHS fans.

Overall Rating and why?

Perfect as it is. I can relate myself in the anime and it has a great impact for me as an anime addict. Now, I'm still the lead guitar of the song "God Knows" Also I'm still practicing the way this anime is drawn, hoping someday, I can completely copy the characters and make wallpapers of them or make an anime.
