^but its kinda sad...
those professional dubbers are not that active now.
animes dubbers today are replaced by new persons who you said just dub for the sake of fans who wants to watch anime but cant understand jap.
so hate to say but I prefer watching anime with good subtitles than whatching on philippine tv. maybe im just used to it.
ahaha.
i know a lot of pro dubbers are still active... there's just tons of dubbed shows out there now so it would be quite hard to spot them - unlike before...
well, some pro dubbers from before are kinda old now(i guess) so they really have to be replaced with new people(although in ABS i hear, there is still a number of old people that don't want to be replaced, even if they should. hehe...) i guess the real problem here is, how the heck do obviously "un-gifted" people get to be dubbers anyway?! red tape? connections? or are the producers just desperate?
hmm, there is nothing really bad with not watching tagalog dub - who can blame you if your ears bleed from the awful dubbing?
me, i just happen to chance upon really good dubbed anime which compels me to watch... but honestly, sometimes i just watch crappy dubbing to get a good laugh...

| well it depends on one's preferences.. if you're too lazy to read.. then stick with dubbed anime. but if you want to learn a little Nippon go then stick with the subbed anime.. if there are crappy subs that changes the meaning/names in the story.. so is true with crappy dubs... if i am not mistaken, eugene, alfred, vicent, denis etc.. that is not the jap translation of their names. kagebunshin times 2 times 2?? oh please... pero in fairness.. cute sya huh!! hehehe |
hehe, ya. subs can kill the excitement sometimes, so ya - it can be an effort to read...
i hate it when they change the japanese names - that's a no-no for me. although i must admit, the names did somehow suit the characters... they did this for the MKR (ABS version) too - the names here didn't sound right though.

i prefer subbed also...
you can learn nihongo by just listening...
though i don't have anything against dubbers...
i just hate them when they screw things up...
hate telesuccess... hehehehe..(just for the record, it was the dubbing studio that messes up the dubbing, not just the dubbers)

LOL oo naman noh.
if i can understand japanesse i wont go for sub version or any dubbed one.. mahirap kasing magbasa, then minsan di ko na napapansin ung animation.
for the dubbed i guess depende talaga sa dubbers

I'm also on the side of sub
because it make me freaking out when I heared ang ENG dub or another language other than JAP
cause I can also learn new language and meaning in anime when it comes to sub.

i prefer it subbed. i think maybe because the anime is of japanese origin. consider other animations for that matter. they also kinda look and sound "out of it" when they are dubbed by another language.. or that would just be me thinking it..?
hehe..

depends.. if the voice actors are really good then it would be okay..
because sometimes when its dubbed they cant express the real emotions that the original seiyu did..
