Tetsuko's older sister and Tatsuko's cousin, Setsuko is 6 years older than the former. Since she's the older sister, being overprotective of her younger brother was inevitable but because they were brought up in not only a traditional Japanese family, but also in a clan with a duty, they had to set aside their personal feelings and focus on what the clan's purpose of existing is... At least, that was what she was taught while growing up. Nevertheless, she balances both and although she may not look like it, she's actually a very caring person who prefers to watch over the people she cares for from afar. She isn't the type to jump in and be heroic and all, if anything, she'd rather guide them than spoon-feed them when it comes to facing a problem of any sort.
She didn't spend most of her childhood with her younger sibling. She grew up in another country and hardly saw her family. This was the decision the elders of her clan decided upon the day she was born. Being born a girl in the Asahikage Clan, she underwent what most women of the clan had to go through; a training, different from those of the men which would require complete isolation from people the person is close to if possible. The exclusive ability of summoning creatures from another place (underworld) was what she gained through this rather harsh training.
Fortunately for her, her brother, Tetsuko, even when he was just a little kid, understood very well their position in the clan as well as what was expected of them. Seeing one another for the very first time, with Setsuko being 12 years old already and Tetsuko being 6, they didn't have any problems getting along. The years they haven't seen each other were not a bother to sister and brother and were both quite happy to finally get to know their sibling after so many years that have passed.

Setsuko was seated on her office chair when her secretary came in. "Lady Setsuko, you have a phone call from you brother."
"Thanks. I'll take it from here." She picked up the cordless phone, stood up and went near the window to see the view of the city lights. "It's unusual for you to call me, Tetsuko. Is something the matter?"
"Nee-san, where are you right now?"
"I'm still at the office... Why?"
"Oh... It's just that Fuyuko and I were wondering if you'd like to join us for dinner a little later."
"Tetsuko, why are you asking me to come along? Isn't this a chance for you to be alone with Fuyuko-chan?" She smiled as she thought of an image of her brother blushing.
"W-what are t-talking about?!"
"You can't fool me, little brother. Don't worry about me and just have fun with Fuyuko tonight. I'm sure she won't mind even if I were to decline the offer." The other line went silent. "Eh? Tetsuko, still there?"
"Setsu-nee!" A female voice could be heard on the other line. "Could it be that I was put on speakers and Fuyuko was with him all the time?"
Setsuko could hear the girl giggle. "Mattaku, Nee-san, what did you tell Tetsu? He fainted..." After hearing what Fuyuko said, she was relieved to know that the latter didn't hear what she told her brother.
"Nee-san? Hey, are you free tonight to join us for dinner?"
"Oh sorry, Fuyuko. I am pretty busy at the moment..." She looked at her desk, there were hardly any papers left for her to go through. In fact, she was pretty much done with her load for the day. "So I can't accompany you 2 tonight. Maybe next time."
"Aww... That's too bad. Guess it's just me and Tetsuko."
"Sorry, Fuyuko-chan. Well then..." Setsuko thought Fuyuko would hang-up right after but~
"Anou... Nee-san, how will I wake up Tetsu?"
Setsuko now had a mischievous smile on her face. Sitting back on her chair, she said, "Try giving him a kiss... That ought to wake him up for sure."
"Wha~" Setsuko immediately hung-up right after. "I just hope, she'll do what I told her too..."

"What?!" Unfortunately for Fuyuko, Setsuko hung-up. "Seriously?" She looked at Tetsuko, who was still unconscious. "Will it really wake him up?" (A/N: Naive, ne?) She thought about it for a sec. "What the heck... Might as well get on with it." Without any other thought, Fuyuko leaned in and gave Tetsuko a kiss (on the cheek). Tetsuko's eyes opened and he immediately sat himself up.
Touching his cheek, he looked at Fuyuko, shocked. "W-what did you just do?"
Poking her cheek, making her look innocent, Fuyuko said, "Nee-san told me to give you a kiss since you fainted. She told me that would definitely wake you up." After hearing Fuyuko's explanation, Tetsuko blushed a deep shade of red. "Oi, Tetsu, don't tell me you have a fever?" She placed a hand on his forehead.
Tetsuko shook his head. "N-no... I'm okay." Fuyuko then removed her hand.
A light tint of red was adorning her cheeks as she smiled. "Okay, if you say so. And hey, your sister declined the invite... That means it's just us two tonight."
