Shizumeru Mizu’umi (located at the center of Yellow Stone Park)

The Shizumeru Mizu’umi is a vast man made lake created by the early settlers of the city. Please take note that the said man-made lake is older than the very Yellow Stone Park itself. If you would look closely, or rather if you would observe the still waters of this lake, you will be able to spot an elusive kind of purple fish, which were also introduced by the early settlers. Their real habitant is by far still unknown. What’s even more interesting is that these fishes only eat the petals of the blue colored flowers that blossoms around the said lake.

AE CITY HISTORY

The Bleeding

It was a long, long time ago when a great turmoil plunged the world in total chaos. Kingdoms were ruined, millions died and the world was bathe in crimson red blood. It was during that time when the Four Constellations’ silence began. These were the hard times, when people killed each other for power and supremacy hostile creatures also waged war with the kingdoms of men and fellow beings. And then there was the “judgment”, as if the Four Constellations’ final act of abandonment, an unknown kind of sickness called the “Bleeding” from the way it slowly kills an individual, draining all bodily fluids out, was released. Many more died, both men and other creatures, reducing their numbers greatly.

And the world was reborn again.

The Rebirth

Years after the judgment of the Four Constellations, the world of men began, they grew numerous in numbers populating each and every known fertile surface of our beloved world. Other creatures of nature lay hidden in the darkness, waiting for the time when they too can roam freely, but it never came. It was after all the beginning of the world of men. As the shadows enveloped their existence of beasts and mythical creatures, knowledge of their existence slowly withered. It was best for both men and none human creatures. Yes, it was best, or so it seems.

But the remnants of the force within the land where the Four Constellations once stood pulled certain individuals to heed its beckoning. Though not all were given the privilege to sense this force, the call was nonetheless heeded. These individuals gathered their own groups and form their own clans in the process as they journeyed to the beckoning of the force.

Though not many were gathered at first, the call was a success but the reason still remains a mystery.

In time these individuals who answered the beckoning of the call learned to live together in harmony, though every so often hostility is bound to be. After all, coexisting would be much better than waging yet another war against one another, especially now that they have just surfaced from the Bleeding.

The Dawn of Modern Civilization

Thousands of years passed y and the dawn of modern civilization began surfacing, burying parts of the past in its awakening. These include the already withering knowledge of the existence of the Four Constellations as well as some knowledge of magical lore and other arts of combat. Computers became abundant, technology widespread, life began racing up in the fast lane. Building began sprouting here and there. Settlements that later formed into town homes, and a lot more appeared in what seems to be a blink of an eye. And from all these modernization the city that we now call onto as AE City was formed. Though many of the people leaving here are either ignorant of the past or are completely total strangers to this land which was once known as the “Land of the Four Constellations”, there are still some who holds puzzle part or two of the story considered to be long gone.

And it’s up to these few individuals as others who wishes to take part of in the searching for truth, may be the only hope of uncovering the real story behind the myths and tales before it sinks deeper into its grave.

The choice is up to you. Would you seek the truth? Or let it sleep for all eternity.

OOC STATUS:
Owner - Megumi (for all her five characters)
Territorial Points - 4.8 pts

Description of the Clan:

It all started with 6 sorcerers and 3 sorceresses from a foreign land. These magic-users were traveling together in search of a place where they’ll be able to use magic however they wanted. Apparently, the 9 of them were exiled from their land because they weren't following the rules set by their Magic Council. They didn’t want to conform to the limiting rules so they were labeled as rebels, who then led them to being cast away to prevent them from influencing other magic-users and cause more trouble than they already had according to the Council members.

While traveling, they came across beasts / creatures even they didn't know existed. Fascinated by these, they decided to look for these creatures' origin. This led them to the land now known as AE City, only it wasn't as modern as it is now; Creatures of different origins/species roamed the lands freely. One can't say there wasn't any order or chaos though; the creatures currently inhabiting the land somehow had a system of their own. The strong shall live and the weak shall perish so to speak. It was a matter of “kill or be killed”. Humans weren't an exception in this way of living. They had to live in fear because of the beasts that torment, torture them almost on a daily basis.

The sorcerers weren't about to upset things but as fate would have it, a creature lusting for more power targeted them, challenged them to a fight which resulted into a battle between the sorcerers and several of the mythical creatures that inhabit the land. The fight lasted days and everything seemed to be in favor of the beasts but the sorcerers weren't about to let the former beat them and so all 9 unleashed a magic so potent that after the fight ended, most of the creatures acknowledged them as their new masters. The humans living there, who happened to be present during the battle, thanked them and asked if they could stay and protect the humans from those beasts. The offer wasn't a grand one but nevertheless it gave the magic-users the sense that they have finally found a place where they are accepted and where they can practice their art freely so they decided to stay and be the land's guardians.

And then the Bleeding began, invoked by the Four Constellations, reducing not only the other creatures of the said land, but also the humans. It tormented each and every creature that roamed the land. After the Bleeding, peace once again prospered as several other clans from other lands chanced upon the land where the said Bleeding was believed to have originated.

Years passed by and the 9 had families of their own which grew in number yearly. They discarded their names and opted to have new ones that would unify all 9 of them. They considered themselves the Shadow of the Magical Land they came from and from that fact they decided to call themselves the KAGE CLAN, which is divided into 9 families with 2 acting as main families.

The clan has been thriving in power as they have established traditions, rituals and methods of invoking power from the netherworld exclusive to their members. They also have managed to blend in with the normal humans and have made themselves the protectors of the land. They took up this task and passed this down to their descendants and ever since then, the clan's goal is to maintain peace and order of the land.

Status of the Clan:

Traditions are still put into practice although these particular traditions are as much as possible kept secret from the outside world. Now that times are different from the way they were before, the members look normal on the outside that one could hardly be mistaken for as someone from a clan of sorcerers.

Main families:
- Tsukikage
  • Mikazuki – considered the Head Family
  • Leader: Akihiko Mikazuki (The Mikazuki Sisters’ Father)
