GENERAL RULES

Original Source: RPG Rules – Megami

RPG Rules

1. Keep it below PG 18

Absolutely no HENTAI scenes / stuffs / acts or even thoughts of the character (PCs and NPCs alike). Only minor ways of showing affections are allowed (e.g. kissing, hugging etc), but beyond that you will be immediately warned.

2. SPAM me not!

This board does not tolerate SPAMMING and DOUBLE posting (especially TRIPLE or MORE)! Each post should be a minimum of at least 1 paragraph with 5 sentences and above. I would like to encourage well-written role-plays, if you wish to improve your writing skills in this game, please refer to RPG 101. If you also have the time, you may ask the RPG Moderator/s himself / herself / themselves. Though you can also post using the dialogue type of role-play, but please add some descriptive sentences with it. Posting using dialogue type of role-play must have a minimum of 3 sentences.

3. Slow Down, will ya?

In relation to #2, give other members (or those included in your thread) enough time to reply in between specially those in MTs (Mass Threads)

4. Solo Role-play

In relation to #3, only PCs (Player Characters) who own certain Priv MTs (Private Mass Thread) are allowed to role-play alone in their domain with minimum posts of 3 posts per day. Please take note that MTs have not much solid storyline at all.

5. Off Topic Discussion

Off topic discussions are strictly prohibited in all RPG threads, unless it is a warning of some sort over a wayward post or typed information / data as long as it is connected in role-playing.

6. Five is a Crowd

Each account may now have a total of 5 registered characters.

7. Identify Yourself

In each and every post that you make, please state the name of the character you are using. You may also add other specifications such as your character’s color-coding as well as how would others identify which is talking through the use of different clues like using italics for thoughts. Whichever you feel like using.

8. Joint Posts

For those who have more than 1 character in one account, as much as possible, do not RP back and forth. Try to keep your character out of the same thread. However, should it be needed to move the story along, the use of more than one character will be allowed but only using one post. Therefore you must identify that / those other character/s of yours.

9. No Game Master

The character who starts a particular thread is not the boss, main character, etc. Technically there really must be no GAME MASTER in any thread. Nobody, and I mean nobody can dictate what your character/s must do. Remember you are the MASTER of your own character. Exercising game master like traits is already a form of POWER PLAYING.

10. Understand Each Other

Role-players may or may not discuss what the storyline would be. Discussions or role-play plans must be done through PMs (or other forms of communications) or through posting a thread in the main Anime Elites RPG Community board (the original main RPG board, remember that? Before the sub-boards were added?)

11. The Contract

For those of you who wish to start a single plot thread, you have agreed to finish it. Even if your involvement is in a minor way, you will have to stay involved until either it's over or until you made your character somehow leave the said RP. MTs (Mass Threads) are the only places where your character must leave before pursuing to other MTs. Single plot threads are the only thread, which allows to be participated in by the same character/s simultaneously with other single plot threads. MTs can be basically referred to as everyday mundane life of your character/s through going to the different places (MTs) available in a give board.

12. Add a Little Spice

Comedic acts are not necessary frowned upon, but it always depends on the case. That also applies to violence.

13. Out casting

Do not exclude someone just because you think they're not good at RPing or that they'll take the story to a different way than how you wanted it be. That is why it would be better to create a plan first, if not you may add “(INVITES)” at the description or the end of your thread’s title. With this, you can chose among those who wishes to join your thread or those whom you have specifically invited. Please take note that all “Priv MTs” (Private Mass Threads) must always have the invite from the thread starter. Always!

14. Languages
The following languages may be used:
- English
- Tagalog (Provided the thread starter uses this language first.)
- Tag-lish (Tagalog-English; Provided the thread starter uses this language first.)
- Japanese (Only bits and pieces, not all of us are fluent in Japanese. Also please add a translation at the end of your post for reference, just in case.)

Additional Notes:

A. ABSOLUTELY NO GOD MODDING

God Modding is where someone creates an extremely powerful character without that many weaknesses. These kinds of characters are pretty much unbalanced, and most likely not fun to role-play with. Add weaknesses to make it challenging to you. Also if possible, do not create new techniques / abilities / powers for your character that weren't included in your character’s Character Sheet.

[B[B. NO POWER PLAYING[/B]

Power Playing is when you take excessive control of someone else's character as well as your own. What it boils down to is that the character you are controlling will have limited actions when the player who made the character takes his / her turn. It will make the following actions much more predictable.

C. RPing BATTLES

Please make sure that the battles among characters appear true to their abilities... Strengths and Weakness should be into play meaning, if a character somehow uses your character's weakness, role-play exactly how your character will react to it. If your character is outwitted, overpowered, admit defeat and play against said RPer again if you want instead of making miracles so that your character will be able to "defeat" the other RPer. The RPG Moderator/s and other staffs shall keep a look out for these. Any violation that you have seen must be discussed with the RPG Moderator/s first.

D. ANIME RP CHARACTERS
Canon-based Characters that have not been played in over 30 days will be deleted. (Unless, the char hasn't been in any specific RP Thread.)
This must be done so that other members may use characters that are no longer being played.

E. RP CLANS (CANON-BASED/ORIGINAL)

Characters need not be a member or part of an existing clan to participate in the RPs.
If a particular char among the characters you have created were part of a Clan, it would be greatly appreciated if that particular character joins a RP specified for the Clan.

Miscellaneous Notes:

REPUTATION POINTS

- Reputation points may be used when you want to thank another character for RPing with you.
- If you want to comment on a member's character/s, you may also do so by using the system.

PLANNING BOARD

- Before creating a new RP thread, the GM (Thread starter) must at least present the idea of proposed plot.
- There must also be at least 2 members who'll initially be participating said RP.
- The order of posting may also be discussed here to lessen the confusion among the characters involved.

QUOTE
(SAMPLE)
Natsuko -> Kaellies -> Kyrisse -> Natsuko...

This means that if the person who was supposed to post before you hasn't posted yet, sorry, you will have to wait until that RPer has posted before you could post your reply.
