there are theories that shows that tobi and obito is the same.
some evidence like he has a shariggan in his right eye only.
other said tobi is not a real person, it just a dummy. Its uchiha madara in obito's body.
magulo talaga. i thought Pein is the AL then here comes tobi link to obito and uchiha madara..

~ Obito gave his left eye to Kakashi. Tobi's eye hole is over the right side of his face only.
~ The similarity of the hair is pretty uncanny.
~ They have similar personalities.
~ Obito was smashed pretty badly by those rocks. Tobi wears strange armor with screws in it that covers his entire body.
~ We never see a forehead protector on Tobi and we have little to no information about his past.
~ Tobi is probably the same age as Kakashi.

i think it just merely coincidence to confuse the audience.
***The only way to obtain mangekyu by killing your bestfriend. and obito died after he's sharingan awakened, and kakashi is still alive ( which consider hes best friend right ? )
***Itachi said madara founded the akatsuki and was immortal because of mangekyu. Paen is reporting to tobi, meaning tobi is the leader which mean tobi is madara.
because of this reasons tobi will never be obito
