This thread is sort of like the Anime Dictionary thread only this will contain more phrases than words... Also, grammar has been taken into account in this thread.

To start off:

1. Hajimemashite - How do you do?

2. Dozo yoroshiku - Glad/Nice to meet you.

3. Dozo - please

4. Ano - that

5. Hito - person

6. Dare - who?

7. Ikura - how much?

8. Doko - where?

9. Ano hito wa dare? - Who is that person?

10. O-genki desu ka? - How are you?/Are you well?

11. Hai, o-genki desu. - Yes, I'm fine.

12. Shitsurei shimasu/shimashita.
* " shimasu - is said when leaving the table while others are eating
* " shimashita - is said when returning to the room you left in the middle of a meeting or meal

13. Shitsurei - being impolite

14. Itadakimasu - I will receive/have.

15. Gochiso-sama deshita - It was delicious.

16. A, so desu ka? - Is that so?/Oh, I see...

17. Asoko - over there

18. Gakko - school

19. Byoin - hospital

20. Eiga-kan - movie theater

21. Denwa - telephone

22. Benkyoo wa doo desu ka? - How is your study?

23. Aikawarazu desu - Same as before

24. Konogoro wa ikaga ka? - How are you these days?

25. Shibaraku desu ne - Long time no see.
* This is an informal way of saying "Ohisashiburi desu ne" in Japanese

Mata o-ai shimashoo - See you again.

Mata o-koshi kudasai - Please come again.

Go-yoo wa nan desu ka? - What can I do for you?

Nani o sashiagemashoo ka? - Is there anything I can offer you?

Nan desutte? - What did you say?

Nanika komatta koto ga arimasu ka? - Is there anything troubling you?

Ki o tsukete kudasai. - Please take care.

Ki o tsukenasai. - Take care. (to the children)

Ki o tsukete ne. - Take care. (Informal)

Another basic sentences

From what time does SM open? or in romanji - > SM wa nan-ji kara desu ka.
It opens at 9 A.M. - > Gozen ku-ji kara desu.

Until what time is SM open? - > SM wa nan-ji made desu ka.
It closes at 10 P.M. - > Gogo juu-ji made desu

From what time, until what time, is SM open? -> SM wa nan-ji kara nan-ji made desu ka?
SM is open from 9 A.M. until 10 P.M. -> SM wa gozen ku-ji kara gogo juu-ji made desu
