In this island, people have mysterious powers and attributes. For example, Junichi has the power to see other people's dreams, and he was also taught by his grandmother to magically create sweets. One day, Junichi's cousin and childhood friend, Sakura Yoshino came back from America all of a sudden. To Junichi's surprise, she looks exactly the same as the girl that moved away six years ago, and hasn't aged one bit. And she came back to remind Junichi of their childhood promise... Concerning D.C. II SS ~Da Capo II Second Season~

Ep 11

How "sad" this series has become. The pacing of it is amazing though...I would have expected a long, slow grind that chips away at my patience but this turns out to be rather enjoyable...in a painful way

Anzu losing her super memory was O.O...I expected it as much but wouldn't actually expect them to show it (being a minor detail for the story atm).
Then everyone slowly forgets Yoshiyuki and labels him as a stranger...that must hurt a lot for your friends to forget you.

And I can't believe I am saying this though...Yume has gained some serious points over Otome who is at this point just hopelessly confused about what to do.
Yume on the other hand knows the situation and adapts...there probably isn't anything else they can do to save Yoshiyuki So in that sense, Yume is doing the right, caring thing rather than Otome being rather cold towards Yoshiyuki.

But this does loop back to Otome's personality before she met Yoshiyuki so being cold was something she has always had it in here...

And... NANAKA!! She appeared! Oh my god, what a miracle! her screentime was only from ep 01 & 11 T_T

What I thought was amazing was how moe Yume is now to me...she really has made such a drastic change from before...likewise with Otome but her darkish personality is shown whereas Yume shows herself to be the type to "look on the bright side" and treasure what's left I suppose.

The date was perfect but the thought of Yoshiyuki being on his last legs never disappeared and when his friends turned up and completely saw right though him...ouch...that must hurt.
I guess one regret at the end of this for Yume is that she never got to kiss Yoshiyuki...and I was expecting a kiss...they cheated me out of my kiss scene! T_T

As for Otome...double ouch...
Here she is again crying her eyes out. Just what is magic good for if you can't save the one you love most. Da Capo really have some interesting ideals behind the question if magic will make one happy.

And so, we say goodbye to Yoshiyuki...

Now this series would be so awesome if the male lead remained dead...unique for one and no cheap, forced resurrection for another.

I think that DC & DCII should have a seperate thread, really... I hate nemu grr..

I've only seen the D.C. Da Capo... but the other two I haven't.

I could its fine anime for drama type. But I'm not that much into family love relationship.
