On a train to Tokyo, Komatsu Aoi Miyazaki sits next to NANA [Mika Nakashima, a budding vocalist of rock band, BLACK STONES. They part at Tokyo Station, but they cross paths again as they compete for the same apartment. They decide to move in together and despite their differences, introspective NANA and outgoing nana become firm friends.

The recently lovelorn nana wins a pair of tickets to see her favorite band, TRAPNEST, in concert and invites NANA along. NANA has resevations about seeing the band play live dueto her unresolved feeling towards TRAPNEST's guitarist, Ren, her ex-boyfriend and ex-BLACK STONES bassist. The concert begins and Ten steps onto the stage. NANA sits below in the front row and her eyes are filled with tears as memories comed flooding back.

planning..... pero binasa ko na review nya.. ganda daw... very unique story... girly stuffs..

akin lng ah.....

kung nabasa nyo na ung manga, parang alang feeling ung story
pero once na mapanood mo na tlga ung movie mag-iiba ang point of view nyo sa story ng NANA

its a reaLLY sad story

no offense...totally true...but if ur too creative...maybe manga is nice coz' u can inagine how the characters acted.

again, a bit too late but anyway..

i think the anime and manga are way better than the two movies produced.. storyline-wise, yes, the movies were able to if not precisely then accurately followed the progression of the plot.. the movies just were not able to bring out that "factor" that NANA has..

hmm.. mika nakashima in movie 1 made nana o. stoic which i think nana o was not. but she did try to make amends in her acting in the sequel.

aoi miyazaki is a better hachi than the movie 2 hachi.. gomen, i'm not very particular with japanese artists..
