The show chronologically appears to be set after the events of Devil May Cry 3 and Devil May Cry with the characters Lady and Trish, who debuted in the those games (respectively), appearing as semi-regulars.

In the show, Dante runs his devil-hunting business, Devil May Cry, while struggling under constant financial debt. There are also two new regular characters -- Dante's agent Morrison who visits frequently, and Patty Royale, a young orphan girl he saved in the first episode, who either visits as well, or lives with him.

i think the whole 12 episodes is pretty much like the game...

Dante meets a girl who is connected to the last opponent

then in the last episode, the BIG BOSS comes out.

at first i didnt anticipated that but hell...its DMC!

the series is good, and i hope there would be another season.

DMC is cool... but they didnt put much like the skills, the moves... parang kulang eh.... pero if u played the game... alam mo na kakalabasan ng story...

i don't really like this anime.. 6/10.

each and every episode are just random episodes showing how dante can easily beat the opponent and nothing more than that. the ending wasn't really satisfying either
