Final Fantasy Tactics (ファイナルファンタジータクティクス, Fainaru Fantajī Takutikusu?) is a tactical role-playing game developed and published by Square (now Square Enix) for the Sony PlayStation video game console. The game is set in the kingdom of Ivalice during a period of war. The story follows Ramza Beoulve, a young cadet who finds himself thrust into the middle of the conflict.

The game combines thematic elements of the Final Fantasy video game series with a game engine and battle system unlike anything previously seen in the franchise. In stark contrast to other 32-bit era Final Fantasy titles, Final Fantasy Tactics uses a 3D, isometric, rotatable playing field, with bitmap sprite characters.

Yeah. PSX, PSOne and now even the GBA has it. It's still good... I'd definitely recommend it to any RPG gamer... The only other TBSG (turn-based strategy game) I've played that even came close to this was Vandal Hearts 2 for the PSOne and the PSX. Now, THAT's saying something!!!

ive played the ps1 version of the game..PlayStation is the only game console that i have..

i really enjoy this game. A LOT! i have different styles or tactics in this game. e.g. most of my men are knights or most of them are archers or samurai... i love how the characters change from job to another... all time favorite... I never get bored w/ this game.
