Harvest Moon: Back to Nature is a video game in the popular farm simulation Harvest Moon series developed by Victor Interactive Software. Back to Nature is the only Harvest Moon game developed for the original PlayStation, as well as the first Harvest Moon game for a non-Nintendo console. Characters from Harvest Moon 64 were transferred to this game, with new lifestyles, personalities, and relatives. The five marriable girls from Harvest Moon 64 (Ann, Elli, Popuri, Maria - Known as Mary, Karen) are available in this game as well. The setting of this game was later transferred to the 2003 Game Boy Advance game Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town. The game was also coupled with the girl version and ported in 2006 as Harvest Moon Boy & Girl for the PSP.

Ey, YEAH!!!
I've played all the harvest moon games currently out now, but I still love the GameBoy color version. Call me "Old Skool" and everything, but THAT was the grand-daddy that gave birth to the whole phenomenon. It featured ALL the aspects that eventually made it to 3d via PSX and GC.... The originals are still the best, as they say, but one thing that I liked about the later HM games were the cooking and marriage systems...



I LOVE this game!!! I still play it whenever I'm getting tired of using my Mega Buster and when my fingers are hurting from button-mashing combos.

Overall score for me is:
Graphics- 7 / 10 (Could be better, especially with today's 3D technology)
Sound- 5 / 10 (Totally repetitive, season after season after season...)
Gameplay- 9 / 10 (Lots of things to do, especially in the later stages of the game)
Replay Value- 8 / 10 (Lots of things to discover, lots of girls to marry, but eventually, you'll grow weary of running a ranch. )

Overall: 7.25 / 10
--Could've fared better, but the Sounds dragged the score down. Still, if you turn off the music every now and then, it'll all be worth it.

I played that game on gameboy,but I was tired of playing the game that I didn;t continue on playing.
